Is there anybody who doesn’t like madeleines? They’re spongey and simple and perfect with a cup of tea or coffee, and pretty much every time I see a three-pack of them at Starbucks I buy it (that’s not a pro tip, I am not proud of myself). But I recently discovered that these sweet little babies are not hard to make at all. The hardest thing about making madeleines is finding a place to buy a special pan, and they’re on Amazon.
I used this recipe from Epicurious for my first batch and they came out delicious. I’m interested in adding more lemon zest for a zestier flavor, or even trying out different flavors in the future, but in the mean time, I highly recommend you start living your best life and making your own madeleines today.
