Listen Up

There are periods of time when I am obsessed with a single artist or song, and times where I am really into one genre. Lately though, I’ve been feeling less of those intense emotions towards music. Maybe I’m just mellowing out, but I doubt it because this post-college life definitely feels crazy.

I thought I would share some of those songs that have carried me through the past few weeks, during happy times and not so happy times (aka moments where you’re not sure about anything and definitely do not feel like scheduling car maintenance or a dentists appointment).

Highlights include my favorite songs from the new Angus & Julia Stone album as well as Son Mieux, a Dutch band that I can’t find a lot of information on in English, which makes them all the more mysterious and interesting. Enjoy!

Runaways by Sam Feldt & Deepend ft. Teemu

Baudelaire, Cellar Door, and Nothing Else by Angus & Julia Stone

Postcards by Meadowlark

Sidenote: I keep forgetting if the song or artist name is “Meadowlark” or “Postcards,” but then I remember that “Postcards” is a rather silly band name.

Wish I Knew You by the Revivalists

Easy by Son Mieux
